Hoka Clifton 9 Dising
Comfort
We noticed that the hoka Clifton 9 provides long-lasting foot comfort by eliminating stiffness. The mesh upper is thin and smooth, allowing the foot to bend easily while walking. Interestingly, we didn’t encounter any discomfort or blisters, even when wearing socks. We didn’t experience any foot rolling despite having plenty of room for leg movement inside. Each step reduces pressure on the foot, spreading comfort throughout the sole. If you value comfort, we recommend this pair.Outsole
The outsole uses a rubber material that we found a bit stiff, but it didn’t affect the cushioning. What we disliked is the outsole’s grip and traction capabilities, which aren’t suitable for all terrains. While it provides good traction on roads and light trails, the feel when walking or running is finer compared to the Clifton 8.
Midsole
The midsole is thicker and stronger than before, offering excellent cushioning. We found its stack height to be 3mm higher, creating a smoother feel than the Clifton 8. The midsole is made of high-quality EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) foam, which is very durable and comfortable.
Insole
It’s worth noting that the hoka Clifton 9 features a standard, padded insole of good quality. The heel strap of the insole we reviewed is 42mm, providing excellent support for people with high arches.
